Here at The Mog Blog, we run the site with gamers. Each gamer has a personality and a face, just like every single one of you readers/viewers/listeners out there. As The Mog Blog grows with a bigger audience, the staff will also be expanding as well. In fact, the staff has been expanding as we speak as The Mog Blog used to be a one man job. In these series of posts, we (the staff) will be introducing ourselves, where we come from and what we do on the site.

Gaming Background
I think I started when I was 3… or maybe 4. All I know was that I was hella young and I had a Nintendo controller in my hands while I was playing Zelda 2 and Bayou Billy. To this day, I have no idea how in the world I beat Zelda 2 or Bayou Billy as a kid but it did happen. I grew up playing whatever game I could get my hands on, with Super Metroid being my favorite game of all time. My very first RPG was Secret of Mana and I will play the heck out of it. I went from NES to SNES to N64 to PSone and then I just managed to get everything else under the sun after that.
Nowadays, I spend my time playing on my Xbox 360 at home, PSP on the go and trying out random MMORPGs left and right, with World of Warcraft being sometihng I just log in from time to time. I also enjoy playing fighting games, though I doubt I’ll reach professional status. I have enough work as it is with this site and other projects!
Why Do I Game?
I, like many, view video games as an art. I love being able to analyze each game, view things from a programmer’s perspective and dissect each title. I think it’s a great medium to express oneself and I love it when independent developers are able to so in this day and age.
Favorite Game/Series
Super Metroid/Anything Castlevania related.
My Job at The Mog Blog
I’m the Administrator and Webmaster of The Mog Blog. I’m also the Manager of Operations around the site and all projects revolving around it. Pretty much, if I don’t have anyone assigned to do something, I’m the person filling in the blanks.
What Can We Expect From You
I put a lot of work and effort into The Mog Blog and I have a lot more coming. With the rest of the staff putting their all, I will do my best to provide content for everyone out there with a large passion for gaming like us. Maybe we’ll slowly change the world with our site, I’d like to hope!
