Well, if the fact that it’s called “Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons” with Marian being alive and no longer being “The Revenge” doesn’t scare you, then the fact that this horribly edited trailer might just make you cry in sadness.

Coming out this September for probably an unwarranted $15 dollars (1200 MSP) on Xbox Live Arcade, Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons has nothing much to do with the fact that it’s a remake of Double Dragon II nor does it really seem to imply that it’s an actual sequel to the first Double Dragon… or even the fact that the game seem to have glaring issues that makes us hope that it’s just the video itself.

In any case, Double Dragon II is a 3D remake or whatever it is which will feature four playable characters including Billy, Jimmy, Marian who is not dead and a fellow named Jeff. You can expect weird combo slowdown, a perfect guard system and… well, just overall bad and plain looking visuals that look boring to play.

Interesting enough, it’s developed by Barunson Interactive, the same guys who made an MMORPG called Draconica. Seems like that’s the only game they made though… Hmm.
