After some sleuthing and puzzle solving, hardcore Deus Ex fans have discovered that a new DLC will be coming out for Deus Ex: Human Revolution called The Missing Link. As detailed by Siliconera, a message from the DE:HR news feed on the bottom of the main menu was not a server error or a misparse or what have you: it was a hidden message that lead towards a crap ton of stuff that I know I wouldn’t have bothered trying to figure out.

The Missing Link fills in a gap in the story where Jensen mysteriously disappears for 3 days. What happened exactly? He was stripped of his augments apparently! How will this all play out in the end? Most likely it will be a side mission that will not require the player to hit a certain point or beat the game prior to playing (though I would assume it’s highly recommended). The Missing Link should be released around October and for those that can’t get enough about Deus Ex: Human Revolution, be prepared for that and be prepared for my review of the game coming here from The Mog Blog soon!
