Voice Re-recording for MGS HD Collection Is Not A Huge Deal

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

While not a huge issue, Kojima Productions revealed in their latest podcast episode that some dialogue needed to be re-recorded due button specific commands on the different consoles. Considering that Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 is now on Xbox 360 and Peace Walker is brand new for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, an oversight like this might be the center of some bad criticism. Nevertheless, though minor, Kojima Productions is making every bit of effort to make this HD Collection the best as they can possibly do.

The collection is looking to be the best one out there. Though it will be missing Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, all time spent on MGS2, 3 and PW will make it all worth it in the end.

And before you start complaining on why they are not just simply porting over Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, Silicon Knights developed that version and was teamed up with Konami. A good thick piece of redtape, I’m sure Kojima Productions is not able to pull through and release that game. Besides… that game had some really cheesy cutscenes.

Expect a triple dose of Metal Gear Solid on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 this November.
