Halo: Reach Title Update And The Preview Disc Don’t Mix

Some of you might have participated on Microsoft’s Preview Program which involved rolling out the DVD format that enables them to squeeze in one more gig into the already full dual layered disc. Those that took part in it (like myself) ended up with a free (but ugly) copy of Halo: Reach. Unfortunately, the recent Title Update has made the discs obsolete and useless as the game will no longer boot.
Fear not as you have been saved! If you have partaken in the program, you will be sent a free code to redeem a Games on Demand copy of Halo: Reach. Now you don’t have to look at the ugly shiny disc and you’ll be ready for the beta update which will bring balance changes to the game. Check the e-mail that you used to sign up for the program as they should be rolling out right now.
