Battlefield 3 Beta Issues Causes Some Concern

EA released their open beta for Battlefield 3 today on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. With many players flooding the servers, this raises quite a bit of concern for players wanting to play the actual retail game once it releases October 25th. Xbox 360 players are having a rough time getting into any sort of match with the matchmaking servers being unresponsive and players getting very anxious to play the game. Some simply cannot connect to EA’s servers to even play the game.
PC gamers have even voiced concerns about the battlelog and the need to run the game using an internet browser. As of right now, you are unable to change your in-game settings outside of the game. This means you will be open to dying until you get your graphics settings to go with your setup.
Typically, a “beta” that is released only a month or so before retail release is not so much a beta but a promotional thing to hype people for the eventual releases. Some may have taken this the wrong way.
