Minecraft's Notch seems to be very displeased.

Admittedly, I am not a fan of Minecraft nor am I a fan of Yogscast. I don’t hate either party, I just never had the time to sit down and play Minecraft and I really don’t look at anything that Yogscast puts out for no real reason other than not being legitimately interested. However, when Notch, Minecraft’s developer, starts mentioning about his bad dealings with Yogscast at Minecon this past weekend… Well, something is indeed going on.

According to Notch, Yogscast has been “f-bombing kids” and that “Yogscast repeatedly insulted people, talked behind their backs, refused to cooperate, and acted like total spoiled divas nonstop.”

Yikes.

These statements and more came shortly after Notch has been fairly quiet about who he chooses to deal with in the future. After saying “Yes, Yogscast.” on his Twitter feed, a slew of backlash comments came from the Yogscast fans. Of course, this spewed into fans headbutting back and forth on the matter as sides are taken and fists (words) are flung.

Yogscast has not said anything official other than:

An Official statement/Vlog will be released when Simon, Lewis and Hannah return from Las Vegas to clarify what has happened. Hopefully this will clear everything up for everyone.

Perhaps it is all a misunderstanding. Perhaps one side overreacted. Perhaps it’ll all end on a nice friendly note where everyone will have a nice picnic in the meadow and all peace will return. Or perhaps bridges will be burned and everything will explode!
