3DS Sold More In 9 Months Compared to Wii

In a Nintendo press release that flew in my mailbox this early morning, Nintendo proudly proclaims that the Nintendo 3DS has sold more in its first 9 months than the Nintendo Wii.
With the release of Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land helping with the sales, the success of such high sales greatly offsets the early bad sales of the initial launch. Now that we are in 2012 and games such as the new Kid Icarus and Metal Gear Solid 3 making their way, no doubt that the Vita will have some stiff competition.
