Diablo III Opens To The Public With Open Beta This Weekend

Starting from Friday, April 20 at 12PM PDT, players are welcome to stress test the servers and play some Diablo III over the weekend. Now, don’t expect too much as anyone in the open beta will be restricted to what the closed beta players were limited to. You will only be able to play up to level 13 and up to half of Act 1. However, it is a very nice sample that Blizzard is graciously allowing players all over to experience before the eventual May 15th release. Note that the open beta will last until Monday morning.
Those that are currently in the closed beta will still be able to play long after the weekend is over… Well, not that much longer as Blizzard did announce that the closed beta will officially end May 1st. Sure, it’s about 2 weeks until the game comes out but I’m certain that everyone involved will be tired of killing that damned Skeleton King again and again.
