Gears of War Game Being Developed by People Can Fly

Game Informer just recently unveiled a new project from developer People Can Fly, the guys who did Bulletstorm, called Gears of War: Judgment.

In a two cover special type way, the two covers show either Baird or Cole shackled and pulled away from what seems to be some havoc in the background. They are accompanied by COG soldiers, and well, the two look young compared to what we’ve seen so far in the Gears of War series.

While it’s interesting to note that even though Epic Games themselves won’t be handling this game, People Can Fly is owned by Epic. They did handle the PC port of the first Gears of War and they developed Bulletstorm.

We might not see the craziness found in Bulletstorm in Gears of War. Honestly, Bulletstorm was not a bad game to begin with, and the Gears of War PC port was done very well. I have no doubt that People Can Fly will do a great job handling Gears of War: Judgement.

With Baird and Cole appearing younger, will be this a prequel? Or maybe it’ll jump back and forth in time like Call of Duty: Black Ops II! Will we see the return of Right Hand Advantage and shotgun battles for multiplayer? What about Carmine?! Oh god, what about Carmine?!

All this… might not be revealed any time soon. But everything seems to be embargoed until the Microsoft E3 Press Conference this upcoming Monday in the morning.
