Phantasy Star Online 2 Open Beta is Up

Phantasy Star Online 2

Phantasy Star Online 2 has finally opened its doors to open beta. This time around all characters and progress will be saved when the game hits final. Now is a good time to hop on board the PSO2 train and have at it, the game is pretty much ready for you to enjoy.

Unfortunately, it’s still in Japanese and there has been no announcements in regards to an official English translation or overseas release with separate servers. Nonetheless, there is nothing holding you back from starting your own Japanese Sega account and play PSO2, other than the language barrier.

Time to learn some Japanese, fellas.

You can use this guide to setup a Japanese Sega account and set yourself up for PSO2. As far as I know, most of the English speaking players will be populating Ship 2 Ship 10. If you can figure out how to navigate the friends list, my game ID is “MogKnight” and you can friend me from there.
