BioWare Clears Up Twist In Mass Effect 3 Ending

Yes, Mass Effect 3 spoilers.
In the BioWare Social Forums and reported by Dark Side of Gaming, UK Community Coordinator Tully Ackland confirms that Shepard is indeed alive after the events of the Destroy ending in Mass Effect 3.
Though, this may not strike anyone as surprising, given that this little tidbit was in the original Mass Effect 3 endings, the extra bit where the romance interest of Shepard holding and glancing at the name plate longer than the other endings was to affirm the fact that they do not believe Shepard is dead.
Mass Effect 3 marks the end of the Shepard trilogy. While it is doubtful that Commander Shepard will ever take the lead role ever again (unless BioWare wants to completely negate all the other endings in the series), it’s good to know that at least BioWare isn’t beating around the bush about Shepard being alive.
