Oh… right, you probably can’t read that.
With a little help from Google Translate and some time zone conversation maths, the PSO2 Open Beta will conclude on Monday, July 2nd at 7PM PDT. This will make way for the opening of the official service, which starts 27 hours later on Tuesday, July 3rd at 10PM PDT. If you’re on EST, just add three hours.
Though really, it doesn’t mean “too” much. Open beta was more of an early release with some restrictions since everything from open beta will be transferred to final. This does, however, mean that we will be seeing a major update that includes the Tundra level, level cap raised to 40, and a fist full of new rare items. You can see what will be added in the trailer posted below.
The AC (Arks Cash) shop will finally open up for those who want to throw money at Sega. This also means that player shops and rooms will be closed off to those that have not signed up for the premium subscription that is offered. There are plenty of things to buy with AC, though none of it is necessary and only act as conveniences. Personally, I wouldn’t mind paying for more on-hand inventory space. Though this is assuming that I can pay internationally. I did hear that the AC shop will support PayPal, so that’s a possibility.
It’s no doubt that the game will continue on to be very successful, and an international release is hopefully inevitable. So far, I’ve met a handful of a new people which really enhanced my experiences. Even if they are not online to help me out, their partner cards certainly helped out during some rough moments. Heck, if you can spot me, I’ll gladly add you to my friend’s list if you ask.
Again, I’m Angry Bot on Ship 10 and I can usually be found in Block 20. You can also search for my game ID by looking up MogKnight. Finally, Bumped.org is a fantastic source of information, along with PSO-World. I will see you guys at final release!
