Rocksmith’s Bass Expansion DLC Releases August 14, 2012

Are you trying to learn the guitar playing Rocksmith? Want to learn how to play bass?
Awesome.
Ubisoft’s Rocksmith, a game which allows you to hook up any guitar via 1/4″ input jack via USB, will soon have a Bass Expansion DLC that you can purchase for $29.99 starting August 14, 2012 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. All on-disc tracks that feature bass, including any previously released DLC songs purchased, will be updated with with the ability to play the bass. This also includes brand new mini-games and tutorials for bass play. If you don’t happen to have a bass guitar, you can use your current 6-string guitar to emulate a 4-string bass.
Now if you excuse me, I’m gonna try to go back to playing this Squier… and failing horribly because of my lack of coordination with a guitar.
