Rock Band Blitz, a spiritual successor to Harmonix’s original Amplitude and Frequency games, will feature 25 tracks that will all be playable in Rock Band 3 for no additional charge. Likewise, any song that you have downloaded for the previous Rock Band games will work with Rock Band Blitz.

Utilizing a standard controller instead of an instrument, Rock Band Blitz will be familiar territory for those who have played the Amplitude, Frequency, or Rock Band Unplugged. You can check out the gameplay trailer here:
