Keiji Inafune, Creator of Mega Man, Emerges with YAIBA

Keiji Inafune, the father of Mega Man and former producer of many different Capcom IPs, has come to show a new piece a work from his indie development studio comcept. While the game is not formally titled yet, the code name given is YAIBA. What does it involve? Zombies. Why zombies?

“There are so many zombie games out there, yet people ask me for a new Inafune zombie game. I am grateful for people’s respect for me as the ‘zombie game creator’ and to fulfill that I must answer their expectations with YAIBA.” – Inafune

Inafune has left Capcom in order to start anew and bring forth a revolution for game development in Japan. Will he succeed with what comes out of YAIBA? We probably will not know for awhile as this game is still very new and is under early development.
