Konami Cans Metal Gear Rising on Xbox 360 in Japan

It seems like Konami is slowly showing less and less love for the Xbox 360 as Konami has officially announced that the development of Metal Gear Rising: Revengence has been cancelled for the Xbox 360 in Japan. The PlayStation 3 version is still underway in Japan and, until someone says otherwise in Konami, the 360 version should still be coming out for regions outside of Japan.
With the Xbox 360 not being the platform of choice in Japan, maybe Konami just want to cut back on costs in publishing an Xbox 360 version in Japan. No technical limitations implied here, certainly seems like a marketing choice.
