Dragon Age 3: Inquisition Announced, Will Use Frostbite 2 Technology

Just announced by EA, BioWare Edmont and BioWare Montreal will be releasing the third game in the Dragon Age main series, Dragon Age 3: Inquisition, late 2013.

After the previous release of Dragon Age 2 which turned the formula around from Dragon Age: Origin, the Dragon Age team has been keeping close tabs with the community. Of course, we’ve seen the repercussions of fan feedback and whatnot with BioWare’s other series Mass Effect.

Making use of DICE’s Frostbite 2 tech will be an interesting one. If not for the beautiful graphical and physics engine, but for the fact that Frostbite 2 does not run on Windows XP.

… But who the hell is running Windows XP in this day and age? Anyone? I’m looking at you.
