Call of Duty Elite Will Be Free For Black Ops II

Call of Duty Elite, the online service and back-end that was used in Modern Warfare 3, will be returning for Black Ops II. This time around, the service will be free, but will not feature any DLC maps. Instead, a separate Season Pass will be sold for $49.99 and that will roll out the map packs are they become available.

This means that Call of Duty Elite TV will be free for anyone, detailed profiles for Player and Clan support will still be intact, and Zombies will also have its own stat tracking system in place.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II will be in stores on November 13th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The Wii U release will be a week after on November 18th.
